Twin First Birthday Photos | Houston, Texas

From her blonde whispy hair that grows straight down the middle of her forehead, to her blue eyes,  my little girl has me wrapped around her finger. She is smart, determined and sweet all at the same time. She amazes me every day and to say that I have enjoyed watching her grow and develop over the last 12 months is an understatement. I honestly can’t believe that she is now officially a toddler.

It seems like yesterday that she was a chubby little baby rolling around on the floor. First the baby cheeks started to disappear and the next thing I knew she was crawling. A few days before her first birthday she took her first steps. It is becoming more and more clear to me that I need to document all of these stages so that I can remember her as she was.

She doesn’t particularly like mommy taking photos of her (as there have been many attempts and failures over the months) but I managed to get these before she was just, well…done as only a toddler can be. I dressed her in a delicate and soft lace dress to coincide with her tenderness at this age for these twin first birthday photos. I let her play and explore and enjoyed capturing the magic of being one.
