As a baby photographer, I probably get to interact with more babies than the average person. What amazes me is how much each baby’s personality shines through, even at just weeks or months old. It sure is a great reminder that babies are individuals and should be treated with the same respect as a grown up person. I love that you can already tell if a baby is more reserved and calm, or active and curious. They can clearly communicate their needs, if only we stop to listen for a moment. The best part about all of these babies coming into my studio is all of the joy I get to experience! The families that come to me are just really great people, you can see it in their children. Children who feel safe and loved are free to play, laugh and explore and I see so much of that happening when I look through my lens.
