One of the biggest headaches for most families when booking a photo session is figuring out what to wear. You want your family to look their best but finding the time to go peruse clothing stores for outfits for not only you, but your little ones and significant other so that you all coordinate is time consuming and overwhelming. You also don’t know what you are supposed to wear, what will look good and where to find it all. As a Houston family photographer I have sought out to eliminate this problem for my clients by stocking a studio wardrobe for my clients to use during their photo sessions.
Clothing plays such an important role in the look and feel of your portraits, so I want to make sure that we get it right. A bad outfit- whether it be too busy, ill-fitting, or uncoordinated – can easily ruin your portraits. I spend time carefully hand-selecting clothing from luxury brands (such as Anthropology, Free People and Rachel Pally to name a few) that is timeless, elegant, and falls within a soft color palette that photographs beautifully.
Whether you are coming in for a maternity session, newborn session, baby or family session, I have a great pieces for everyone so you can focus on enjoying your session rather than stressing about clothing. I have dresses in a range of sizes for moms, boy and girl baby clothing, toddler clothing as well as shirts for dads. I am constantly adding more pieces to the wardrobe so it is ever-growing! Each session comes with an optional styling appointment where you can come in to the studio in advance of your session and try on pieces from the studio wardrobe. Most clients find doing a styling appointment is a great choice so that they know in advance what they will be wearing and if they need to pick up any additional accessories to complete their look. You will also get really excited knowing that you are going to look fabulous!

I take it one step further by virtually shopping for you and sending you a digital style board with direct links to purchase items online. Styling my clients is something that I really enjoy and is part of the portrait experience where you are taken care of from beginning to end.
