Houston Family Photographer | The Woodlands outdoor session

I am catching up on some blogging and I realized that I hadn’t yet blogged this beautiful family session in The Woodlands from…February! Yes, February. Oops- I blame in on “pregnancy brain” at the time. But, I wanted to share it because one of the best things about being a Houston family photographer is getting to document a family as they grow and this family has entrusted me to create art for them during their most treasured times during their journey to parenthood and as a family.

We began with maternity portraits and then a newborn session once their precious little one was born. Mom then chose to document baby’s first year with me as well so I got to see this little guy grow into the adorable one year old that you see here in these photos. Each time he came in to the studio for his session he was bigger, more animated and more mobile. It’s truly amazing how fast they grow.

Mom made a great decision to not only preserve those memories of her little love as he grew, but also to take the time to preserve these memories as a family. The first year of parenthood is not only about growth of your child, it is about personal growth as you develop and change with them. Looking at these photos again warms my heart and makes me truly appreciate how privileged I am to be a part of these moments in my client’s lives.
