One of the greatest parts about maternity photography in The Woodlands, Texas is getting outdoors and incorporating the natural landscape.
I shoot my outdoor maternity sessions in a field near my studio. The hour before sunset, sometimes referred to as the “magic hour,” provides beautiful golden light that dances off of the trees and foliage.
The natural light also assists in showing my clients in their best light, especially the expectant mothers who already have a natural glow! Expectant mothers and fathers bring such a pure excitement to maternity shoots that I feel compelled to capture this special moment in the most picturesque setting possible.
There isn’t anything more beautiful or natural than a new life entering the world. I like to think that the gentle, yet powerful presence of the sun in these images as a symbol for the upcoming arrival of the baby itself.
