I specialize in newborn photography in Magnolia Texas with a studio located a few minutes from The Woodlands. A lot of my clients have young children and have just expanded their families with a new addition.
Sometimes parents are nervous about how a newborn photo session will work with their other younger ones in toe. I am aware of the short attention spans of little ones, so I always start the session with family photos first so that little ones can go play as soon as possible. I recommend that Dads or another family member entertain the little ones while I finish up with mom and baby, which works out great.
I have lots of toys at the studio as well as a large front porch and lots of green space to play outside. Bringing some of their favorite items is always a good idea too.
I do my best to keep newborn photo sessions under 2 hours, and they are usually around an hour and a half. I make sure to get everything that we need, but make it as easy as possible on families.
