As a photographer, you think I’d be used to how quickly babies grow. But, with my own children, the months seem to keep adding up on top of one another. How did we get to 8 months?! The baby clothes keep getting tighter and I get a flush of sadness and teary eyes each time a piece of clothing gets taken out of the closet and put into a storage box. Where did my newborns go? I am so thankful I have my photography studio in The Woodlands, TX to capture all of these fleeting moments
Teeny tiny fingers have been replaced by chubby little hands that grasp everything in sight. Soft newborn coos have turned into full on baby babbles of “Dada” (of course not “Mama”). Glimpses of little smiles are now constant big grins and belly laughs.
It’s an absolute gift to watch my baby girl grow. My little Junebug is so full of personality and determination. She makes me laugh every day and I see so much of myself in her. Shortly after these photos were taken she began crawling. I can’t wait to see where her little legs take her next.
