Houston baby photographer | Momma and baby love

Big cheeks, soft baby skin and toothless smiles – all of the things that a mommy loves to kiss and hold on to – and all of the things I love to photograph as a Houston baby photographer! This little girl was so happy to be with her mommy during her photo session and I had such a great time behind the lens capturing the love and connection between this momma and her baby. Her cheeks were absolutely to-die-for and she looked so adorable in her little knit bonnet.

 Sometimes in our busy lives we can forget how incredibly sweet the first year of a baby’s life is and getting outside without any distractions of the modern world and playing with your baby puts everything back in perspective. No cell phones, no tv, just the noise of soft baby giggles.

Rather than overly posing the session I let mom and baby interact while giving some light direction in order to capture the essence of their connection and the honest moments of joy between them. Mom had hair and makeup professionally done in order to look and feel her most beautiful for these special moments. They will be photos that she will hold close to her heart and her daughter will someday look back on and see just how much she was loved.
