As a mother of two myself, I understand the importance of newborn pictures and being in photos with your babies, starting when they are newborns. Those first few days and weeks are filled with such awe and appreciation for the life that you created and all of the new love that you have. These are the memories that you will want to take with you as your baby grows, and newborn pictures help us remember.
All of my newborn photo sessions include photos with mom, dad and any other siblings because I not only want you to remember what your baby looked like, but I want you to see and remember how it felt holding your baby in those first days. I want you to see how you radiated joy while looking down at your baby, and the connection that you already had.
I want Dad to remember how small his baby’s head was in his hands and how light and delicate his baby felt in his arms.
The simple details and tiny features of a baby’s face preserved forever in photographs become more meaningful as time goes on and the same traits are still visible, just amplified with age.
