One thing that always warms my heart as a maternity and newborn photographer is meeting couples who are expecting their first child. Everything is happening for the first time, everything is new and exciting– including booking their first maternity shoot!
I’m so happy that this couple chose to work with me. They wanted their outdoor shoot to look just right, so they came to my studio for a wardrobe consultation prior to the day of the shoot. Trying on clothing options from my studio wardrobe helps clients to imagine themselves in the photos and then select a look that fulfills their expectations.
This mom-to-be chose a long baby blue dress and topped it with a floral crown that brought a romantic feel to the photos. The photos below capture both the excitement and serenity that this couple felt before their baby arrived. And I’m looking forward to seeing them again– they told me that they can’t wait to take newborn photos!
